As is stated in Proboards Terms of Service, all users must be the age of 13 to register and participate on the forums. The rating for this site is PG-13. Nothing here will be any worse than seen in a movie. Since we realize not everyone would like to accidentally step into such a thread, these threads must be marked with a [M] tag at the end of the title. Likewise, private threads should be marked with a [P] tag.

Our genre is fantasy-canine-elemental. This means all normal canines as listed in our species categories can be roleplayed, as well as all user-created fantasy species. We allow abnormal colors, markings, personalities, body parts, mutations, adaptions, etc. Man-made accessories are the only attribute we will not allow although this excludes piercings and works done by metal elements.

Our site cannot survive without posts. To ensure activity on the site, all we ask for is one post per account per week. We would love more than that of course, but this is the minimum requirement. Within two weeks of no activity and no absence notice, you will be put on the inactive list and e-mailed. Within six weeks, your account will be deleted.

Art usage is something we take very seriously at Predestiny. While we love to see what your character actually looks like, we need to verify the use of the picture you're using. This includes photographs as well as artwork. For further information on this, check out the Art Usage sticky!

Character creation limit is three. Each character must have their own account. This limit can be raised through activity. To avoid confusion, please list your other characters in your signature. Likewise, display names must match the character name.

Should real life keep you from posting, please let us know by posting on the Reality board.

There is a site-wide plot about the religious conflict between the Cuulu and the Vinei. However, if that really isn't your cup of tea, by all means create your own independent plot. We have a legends section anyone can follow up on as well. Just be aware while you may not be following the site-wide plot, other characters will be.

Predestiny is a literate intermediate-advanced roleplay with a post minimum of 250 words. This is roughly 2-3 small-moderate sized paragraphs. Its not nearly as difficult as you may think, even if you're not used to that length, we encourage you to try anyway. You'll never know unless you try!

We do allow liquid time. Due to the lifespan of Atheron's creatures, we do not have a set time frame.

Use basic etiquette. This includes but is not limited to refraining from powerplay, godplay, chatspeak and writing someone out of their own thread. Ask the writer's permission for death, grave injury or force breeding.

One way to become more involved in Atheron's plot is to audition for playable characters. Some PCs include Vinei gods, Cuulu gods & native species. Requirements will be listed in the sticky of the Auditions board. Some have a much bigger role in the doings of Atheron than most and may require more activity or post counts compared to others.

A character's profile must be accepted in the character creation board by the Council before s/he can be roleplayed.

Death is part of the cycle of life and is not uncommon in Atheron. While no character lives forever, neither does one always remain unscathed. Should you lose a character, it can be brought back temporarily - or may even possess a body not its own, it can even wander these mortal planes forever in search of an afterlife... Please do not despair if your character dies! There are other options, including making way for a new one.

Sexual themes will use the fade to black method.

Force breeding and all sexualities can be played.

There is no set breeding season. However, the taking of a breeding, litter size, gender and health are determined by staff through randomly generated dice rolls.

Fights can get as graphic as the writers would like.

Your character is not invincible! They will never be unless there is an extreme power difference between elementals or a god is involved. Your character cannot dodge or deflect every attack and everyone has a weakness.

Roleplay moderators will watch over a fight to ensure the validity and fairness of a fight although it is the writers in the thread who should determine the winner.

Pack leaders apply for their right to create a pack through Character Creation in its corresponding sub board. Please realize that while no one may be joining your pack, this does not excuse a pack leader's inactivity.

A pack leader is not a staff member, although they do control everything about their pack in character.

Each pack may have it's own rules and belief system while in accordance with site rules. Pack A may not be as friendly to Vinei as Pack B might. Likewise, they may worship or not worship as they so desire.

Territory may be taken by force - as can any pack.
