********~The Starcode~********
Just as any other pack, we do have a code of rules to follow. This is simply to keep in line with our ethics and beliefs and to ensure the pack remains balanced and equal. Please be sure to read and follow these rules if you plan on joining our humble pack. There aren't too many and they aren't too hard to follow though, so please don't worry.
- First of all, our pack revolves around peace and prosperity over war and bloodshed. As a result, violence is only used against other packs when absolutely necessary. We never instigate fights or conflicts if it can be avoided. In addition, violence within the pack is not allowed and because of the pain it brings to myself and all of the packmembers.
- All members are treated equally. There are no deltas, betas, and omegas in Oota Dabun. A Watcher is just as respected as a Warrior or Hunter in Oota Dabun. No matter what species, size, or color of a wolf they are all the same in the eyes of the pack.
- The way to advance in the pack is NEVER through fighting a higher up member. I assign roles in the pack and will never assign a higher up rank to a new member, instead waiting and observing her members to see if they are deserving of the rank. In this way I can assure everyone receives the rank that fits them best. My judgement is final and absolute, and I won't tolerate quarrels in the pack about rank. I don't doesn't change her mind very often and will usually differ to my more loyal members who have been with me longer over new members, however I does recognize talent and potential and give credit where credit is due. In addition, I also converse with my Inner Circle before making any big changes in rank to get a second opinion or two.
- Well, I am the leader so most decisions fall to me unless I specify for the Startrusted (Deputy) or another packmember to take care of it, which isn't entirely unheard of.
- Punishments.... I hate punishing people. Basically, the only thing you can really get in trouble for is fighting in the pack or an aggressive stance towards other packs. I give out warnings and menial tasks for this type of behavior, and after repeated instances you will be exiled from the pack. However, I am very lenient on this, and will only exile someone if they have acted up quite a few times.
- Again, no violence within the pack our outside of it unless it's a training exercise. Don't go looking for trouble and no aggressive behavior. I do recognize that war and fighting do happen however, but don't go sticking your nose in someone's territory just to get a good fight in.
And there you have it! Don't take this the wrong way--we do value or warriors and fighters very much in Oota Dabun, and they are very respected. It is simply that we try to avoid hostile situations if at all possible, not that we are cowardly or weak. Our Warriors are kept busy almost all day training, patrolling the borders of the territory, and even helping out the Hunters from time to time.
Thank you for reading and understanding the Starcode. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to let me know.
